Birkenhead Point

Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre was built within the shell of the original Dunlop Rubber Factory in 1979 as Sydney’s original factory outlet centre.
VOS Group were engaged to document the mechanical, electrical, communication, dry fire and transportation services in the 30,000m² redevelopment of the shopping centre. This involved assessing the development’s existing infrastructure, replacing equipment that was deficient and increasing its overall coverage to service the areas of extension.
The redevelopment also included the reconfiguring of areas requiring new travelators and lifts, together with major modifications to existing mechanical and electrical services.
